 Both are De Nora on-site generation technologies, but CECHLO MS produces high-strength 12.5% sodium hypochlorite using ion-exchange membrane electrolysis, the same concentration as commercially purchased bleach. MIOX produces dilute hypochlorite and mixed oxidant solution (MOS) at lower concentrations, which is ideal for direct injection into water systems. CECHLO is better suited for facilities that need to store or distribute high-strength chlorine solution.

 Yes. CECHLO is specifically designed as a safer alternative to chlorine gas. It eliminates the need for high-pressure chlorine cylinders, removes RMP (Risk Management Plan) requirements, and significantly reduces liability and permitting complexity.
